Privacy
This is how Lifeform Studio, a woodworking and design studio in Portland, Oregon, handles information from this website.
What we collect
When you send a proposal request, we receive your name, email address, optional phone number, project details and any files you attach. If you email, call or text us, we receive what you send. We don’t ask for payment details on this site.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, prepare a quote, carry out work you hire us for, and keep ordinary business records. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who helps us run the site
A few service providers handle data for us: Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs such as IP addresses, Resend delivers proposal requests by email, Proton hosts our email, and Sanity stores the content you see on the site. Proposal requests are not stored in Sanity.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn’t set advertising or analytics cookies. Videos in posts load from YouTube or Vimeo only after you press play, and those services then apply their own policies. The same goes for Instagram and Pinterest if you follow a link to them.
How long we keep it
We keep project correspondence for as long as it’s useful for the work and for our business and tax records, then delete it. If we never end up working together, you can ask us to delete your request at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We’ll do what we can, except where we need to keep something for legal or tax reasons. This site isn’t directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its date.
